Miso-no-Tsuki

Since it's nearly a year since I last posted a Journal here, I thought I'd wave at you all. :wave: Although I have been posting photos here the artwork just wasn't...coming. I had two pictures in the works and they just weren't progressing, to the point that I didn't want to look at them any more.:bleh: Then I signed up to the Atlantis Big Bang over on LJ and was lucky enough to be given a story by one of my favourite Fan authors, Icarus-who has previously inspired me to draw the Sunset Sheppard (Story-Tanlines and Dogtags) and Skater Boy (Out of Bounds). So I think we can all agree that I'm not the best at posting journals here! To be fair I do post more regularly over on LiveJournal, and the art goes here. Anyhow I got a "Team Choice" award over at the SGFA for my "Elizabeth" portrait! :party: So thank you *very* much to whichever kind person nominated me! I did have five nominations in total but because of the way the voting was structured several of my pics were competing against each other and -even worse, some of the truly terrific stuff that I had nominated was also competing in the same categories. I'm really ashamed that I haven't updated this since last September. *slaps own wrist*. As you can see I've been to two Conventions, Pegasus 4 in London and Chevron 7.2 in Bedford with my husband. They were both great and I have duly posted pics and reports. SGA fandom is still going strong and some stunning art and literature is being produced both here and on LJ. I have been nominated for 5 different pictures in the StargateFanawards!
