This is based on a photo of the actor David Nykl I found on the web (Micheal O'Shea Photography) on a fan site. I have modified it slightly to show the actor in his "Stargate Atlantis" role. Medium is pencil. I try for a three dimensional effect. Enjoy!

 I think this is really really good, I especially like his nose (one of the hardest things to do in my opinion)
Oh and I think you should do Rodney next, not Carson ^^ -- I didn't get where I am today selling ice creams tasting of bookends, pumice stone, and West Germany. Oh, Thank you!! I'm new at this and have been looking for somewhere to put my art for ages. Serena-inverse told me about this site and so here I am. Will do Rodney and Carson before I do anyone else! Not sure who's going first, though. Have to find a decent photo to work from first. They always change as I draw thembut, I have to start somewhere!
